About Apartheid Off Campus

Apartheid Off Campus is a grassroots initiative committed to challenging institutional complicity in apartheid and promoting social justice within academic spaces.

Through advocacy, education, and community action, we empower students to take a stand against oppressive policies, support global solidarity movements, and demand ethical governance from universities.

Our Mission

We strive to build a world where academic institutions uphold principles of justice, equality, and human rights.

Our mission is to educate, mobilize, and support students in their efforts to challenge apartheid systems, advocate for divestment, and create inclusive, equitable learning environments.

Our History

Apartheid Off Campus was founded in response to the growing need for student-led advocacy against university investments in oppressive regimes. Over the years, we have successfully:

  • Organized nationwide campaigns to expose institutional ties to apartheid systems.
  • Mobilized thousands of students through educational initiatives and protests.
  • Secured commitments from universities to divest from companies complicit in human rights violations.
  • Built a global network of student activists working toward a more just world.

Our Values

Our movement is grounded in these core values:

  • Justice – Challenging all forms of oppression and advocating for human rights.
  • Solidarity – Supporting global struggles for freedom and equality.
  • Education – Raising awareness about apartheid systems and their impact.
  • Community – Fostering a strong, inclusive student movement.
  • Accountability – Holding institutions responsible for their actions.

Our Team

Our team comprises dedicated organizers, educators, and student leaders who work tirelessly to advance our mission. Each member brings unique skills and experiences, contributing to the strength of our movement.
